Which port forwarding option did you choose from the list in the docs?

There is NAT, Host-Only and Bridged?

Host-Only and Bridge should give you an IP without any port forwarding. NAT requires port forwarding set up.

I'm new to this so I will have to look up a few tutorials on port forwarding etc.

But if you can get me over the wire with a little more help,I'd be very obliged.

I have 2 machines. Host & Client  that are connected via a cable (and no internet).
What setting should I be using on the Host (VM) with port forwarding and what settings should I be using on the client ?
