Forum register approval time

A co-worker wants to register on this forum, but is not succeeding. Does anyone know approximately how long the approval process takes?

We review the form membership requests on a regular basis. Please keep in mind that we get a large number of spam requests and need to weed these out so we are not getting irrelevant forum content.
