4.7.0.b02 release and Centos 7 Installation Docs - Celton McGrath - 12-09-2019

Hi TACTICians,

The community site downloads page has been updated with 4.7.0.b02 zip enterprise package, OVA virtual machine, and RPM.

4.7.0 is an exciting release that includes Python 3 compatibility, updates to the workflow editor and more. We will continue to fix some known bugs on 4.7.0, and encourage you to post any issues you have with the 4.7 branch.

You may notice two new branches on the TACTIC Github repo: 4.7-updates and 4.8. Currently, 4.7-updates will be a place for semi-stable features, including some exciting Workflow Engine features, and 4.8 is planned for major UX improvements.

Finally, some of you have posted some issues with the TACTIC RPM installation on Centos 7. We've created new installation docs, and re-released the TACTIC RPM so that is compatible with this OS.

See the new Centos 7 installation docs here:

Best,

Celton

Thanks for VM TACTIC_4.7.0.b02_Fedora30.ova
When editing a pipeline through the configurator gives an error:

Hey Cedzip,

Thanks for the posting this - looks like a Python 3 bug. You can still edit pipelines through the Workflow Editor from the left sidebar Project > Project Workflow.

Best,

Celton
