Tactic 4.7.0.a11 windows server install : Cannot start the tactic service - behram - 11-20-2019
Hello,
I'm not able to get tactic started as a service on a windows server.
I have installed all components as per the documentation but still no luck.
This is the error I am getting:
"Windows could not start the Tactic Application server service on local computer
Error 1053 : the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion "
Please help !

In the updated sys-admin docs, there is a section on installing the TACTIC service.

Did you read this section?
There is also a debug option there,
python <TACTIC Install Directory>\src\install\service\win32_service.py debug

Hello Celton,
I have gone through that entire section.Over and over.
I ran the debug service too and got an error message about a "Clock" module missing.
We tried a lot late into the night yesterday and we're going to do this again today. wish us luck.
