Just tested new TACTIC Project Plugin.
This is amazing! Congrats!
What was your inspiration? Here in Russia our de-factor standard for the same purpose is Bitrix24.
Any chances any part of this would become open-source?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is TACTIC Project Plugin? Should it be part of the Built-in Plugin List?

So generally speaking there is a whole plugin architecture in Tactic which essentially lets you package up a whole project configuration including custom code and even data into a format that can be easily zipped up and installed into another Tactic system (similar concept to WordPress or Drupal) I believe that Southpaw has built some specific tuned project plugins which they offer up in some form. I think the project one is a project management setup and an be used as a hosted solution through the portal site @listy mentioned or could potentially be hosted in your own server. You would have to contact Southpaw on that though.
