Previewing Video Files - tim - 11-05-2020

Hi

Is it possible to somehow play video file when you hovering over preview icon particularly in Tile View?

At the moment it was possible for me to hover over File Preview icon in Tactic 4.1 (ex: VFX - Leica) in Table View while using CHROME with HOVERZoom Extension
But in Tactic 4.5, 4.7 it did not work.

Also I found that in Tactic 4.7 in detailed view there are not tabs, like check in, tasks etc., is it supposed to be like this? or it is something wrong with my setup

PS: I used VM images and I also attached screenshots

Do you know what the trigger is to make HOVERZoom extension work? Was it simply an "<a>" tag?

As for the Tabs, is this for a custom sType?

It is fixed in 4.8

If you click on that preview what link is opening? web.jpg or video file?

hoverzoom plus works with simply a tag (in attachment is easy to see it doesn't matter if you hover over text or image with link).
At tactic 4.5 (one of projects)there is nuke explosion and when I was hovering that worked. Not in the best way. Probably there is way to add javascript in views; another topic

Thanks for mentioning 4.8. I will try to setup VM.
